Kyoto Uji Matcha Tea Powder 弥生の白 20g
We have been delivering the finest selections of Matcha and blends to Japan and now to matcha lovers in Singapore. We ONLY use Kyoto Uji species for our Matcha. Uji species are suitable for Matcha and we select from Uji native species that have been cultivated in Uji, Kyoto for over 800 years. Compare our matcha with others available in the market and you will find that ours are different.
KOHATA (許波多の昔) : We only use the highest quality Uji spiece called “Asahi”. Plucking is carefully done by hand. It is the highest quality with a pure taste that can also be used for the dark tea (Koicha).
KOMAKAGE (駒影) : Our finest matcha blend of Uji varieties Asahi, Ujihikari, and Samidori with more complex taste. The blend ratio is confidential. Plucking is carefully by hand. Our finest Matcha as light tea (Usucha).
MISONO (御園の白) : Uji species such Asahi, Samidori, Ujihikari, Goko, and Hoshun are blended. Plucking is done by scissors cutting. It is a quality tea with an elegant taste and aroma.
YAYOI (弥生の白) : All Uji species are blended. Plucking is done by scissors cutting. Ideal as Matcha for lessons. Also great for use as Matcha for dessert and cooking.
